Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
This policy explains what happens if you need to cancel, reschedule or pause, or if you would like to request a refund. It applies to coaching provided by Gaurav Singh, an individual service provider based in India operating as Train With Gaurav, and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. If you cancel before coaching begins
If you cancel before your coaching has started, you will receive a full refund of the amounts you have paid, subject to any lawful exception that was clearly disclosed to you before you paid.
2. If you cancel after coaching begins
Coaching that has already been delivered is not automatically refundable, and a full refund is not automatic once coaching has started. Equally, this is not a no-refund policy, and we do not automatically demand all outstanding monthly payments or charge punitive early termination fees.
If you ask to cancel after your programme has started, your request is reviewed individually. We will consider:
- The coaching already delivered
- The unused part of your programme
- Your reason for cancelling
- What was agreed with you, including your agreed payment schedule
- Your rights under applicable law
We will then tell you the outcome, including what, if anything, will be refunded or remains payable. Any statutory consumer remedies that apply to you are preserved.
3. If we cannot deliver the service
If Gaurav is unable to provide the coaching agreed with you, we will offer an appropriate remedy. This may be a refund for the part of the service not delivered, or another remedy agreed with you, subject to applicable law.
4. If the service falls short
Nothing in this policy removes your statutory consumer rights, or any remedies you have if a service is not provided with the required standard of care or skill. If you are unhappy with the service, please contact us so that we can look into it.
5. Cancelling or rescheduling a consultation
If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, please give at least 24 hours' notice where you can, so that the time can be offered to someone else.
6. Illness, injury and exceptional circumstances
If illness, injury or another exceptional circumstance affects your ability to continue, tell us as soon as you can. We will give reasonable consideration to a pause or an alternative arrangement, depending on your circumstances, the service involved and applicable law.
7. Monthly Payments for the 12-Week Programme
The programme fee is paid through an agreed monthly payment arrangement, as set out in our Terms & Conditions:
- The first monthly payment must be received before coaching begins
- Two further manually paid monthly amounts follow on the agreed due dates
You make each payment yourself. There are no automatic deductions from your card or bank account, no recurring subscription and no automatic renewal.
Monthly payments are how you pay for the 12-week programme. They are not a month-to-month subscription, so stopping a payment does not by itself cancel the programme. To cancel, please contact us as described below.
If you cancel part-way through the programme, what remains payable or refundable is assessed under this policy and applicable law. Remaining payments are not automatically demanded regardless of your circumstances, and we do not charge punitive early termination fees.
8. How to request a cancellation or refund
Email support@trainwithgaurav.com and include:
- Your full name and the email address you used for coaching
- Your programme start date, or your planned start date
- Whether you are asking to cancel, pause or request a refund
- The reason for your request, and any details that would help
- How you paid, and the date of your payment or payments
We will review your request and reply with the outcome and any next steps. Please do not send full card or bank details by email.
9. Your legal rights
Our terms are governed by the laws of India. This policy does not remove or limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you or your purchase, and you are not asked to give up any of them. If this policy conflicts with those rights, your rights take priority.
